Hard to believe, but walking hundreds of steps up and down at an unnatural angle can take a toll on your quads, as we discovered the day after visiting Quabache State Park.

But who could resist the beauty of an IN spring Sunday? Not us, when the sun is shining and the beer is flowing – thanks to the good folks at Hop River Brewing in the Summit City.

This was our first visit to the brewery, which had a decent food menu (tator tots but no French fries) and beers that satisfied our various palettes. And the patio was an excellent spot to enjoy both on this sunny, spring Sunday.
