We travelled up to Sandusky, OH for a quick visit to Cedar Point on Sunday, which started out cloudy and ended up being a beautifully sunny, yet cool, summer day. Attendance was low – probably scared off by the early threat of storms – but our Fast Passes ensured we rode every coaster we wanted at least once in under 8 hours.

Opened in 1870, Cedar Point is the second-oldest amusement park operating in the U.S. It’s reached many milestones over the years, including having the most roller coasters in the world that exceed 200 ft in height.

And those coasters don’t disappoint! It was our first time on many of the newer rides and we found Steel Vengeance, Gatekeeper, Maverick, and Valravn to be awesome additions to their already solid line-up of rides. We can’t wait to go back for another visit to America’s Roller Coast!
